You always hear stories about someone who may have had too much to drink saying they saw a pink elephant or maybe a flying pink pig. But, if you were in London on Dec. 3rd of 1976, you may have seen a flying pink pig.
On that day, a 40-foot inflatable pig that was being photographed at Battersea Power Station outside of London for the cover of Pink Floyd’s Animals album broke lose from its moorings and drifted toward the east, reaching a height of 18,000 feet before coming down in Kent.
When pigs fly. 41 years ago today in London. Any of you (well our friends in the UK) see this?
