On Feb. 5, 2006, Rock and Roll bad boys, The Rolling Stones were the halftime show of Super Bowl XL in Detroit. Thinking that The Stones might be to ‘wild’ for the NFL’s image, the NFL imposed a five-second delay & censored lyrics considered too explicit. The Stones had agreed to the censoring. Remember when they agreed to change the words to “Let’s Spend the Night Together” on the Ed Sullivan Show?

If Jim Morrison / The Doors or Buddy Holly were still around and were going to do the halftime show, do you think they would agree? Remember, agreeing and doing so are two different things.

How many of you saw the halftime show yesterday? Your thoughts?
