On April 15, 1964, The Beatles were filming their first movie, which at the time was titled “Beatlemania!” After a long day of filming, Ringo Starr said to the others that it’s been “a hard day’s night.” We would have loved to have seen the look on John Lennon’s face when he heard Ringo say that because John immediately began writing a song of the same name on the back of an old greeting card. It became the title track for the film.

Place the opening chord for “A Hard Day’s Night” here. (Kind of like the preverbal light bulb).

The picture is of Ringo on the set of the movie.

Is “A Hard Day’s Night” your fav Beatle movie?
