Bob Dylan was playing a concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall on May 27, 1966. Before the concert, The Beatles stopped by Bob’s dressing room. Paul McCartney was hoping a new song they had written would impress Dylan. The song Paul played him would eventually become “Tomorrow Never Knows.”

Dylan listened a bit and then said “Oh, I get it, you don’t want to be cute anymore.” Dylan laughed and left the room.

If you were Paul or any of The Beatles, how would you have taken the comment?
