On June 10th, 1992, the publishing company that held the rights to John Lee Hooker’s song “Boogie Chillen” filed a lawsuit against ZZ Top, claiming that they stole the song and turned it into “La Grange”.

You all know “La Grange” so give “Boogie Chillen” a listen and then tell us if you think ZZ ‘stole’ it or at least ‘borrowed’ from it.
