On Feb. 13, 1981, Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” LP had been on the Billboard charts for 402 weeks. It was the longest that any rock album had ever been on the charts. By the time it finally left the chart on April. 23, 1988, it had been on for 724 weeks.
