Joe Walsh – Life’s Been Good

Posted from the web by on June 10, 2018

When the new Billboard Hot 100 Chart came out on June 10, 1978, Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta had the new #1 song with “You’re The One That I Want”. BUT!!!!! Just entering the chart for the first time was Joe Walsh’s “Life’s Been Good”. It entered the chart at #71. “Life’s Been Good” would go on to become Joe’s biggest solo song on the charts for his career.

Olivia and John were singing a song from the movie “Grease” while Joe was just tryin’ to explain he was just an ordinary guy… The song was on Joe’s LP “But Seriously, Folks” as well as on the soundtrack for the movie “FM.”

Quick question before you listen to “Life’s Been Good”……. How fast did his Maserati go?

We love Joe’s work, but this is one of the “One’s that we love”!!
