One of the great albums of a generation, “Tapestry” by Carole King became the #1 album in the US on June 17, 1971. It woud stay at the top for 15 weeks. The LP contained such classic tracks as “It’s Too Late”, “I Feel the Earth Move”, “So Far Away”, “Will You Love Me Tomorrow?” and “You’ve Got a Friend”.
