John Lennon began recording what would become his final album “Double Fantasy” in New York City at the Hit Factory on Aug. 4, 1980. The album was produced by John, Yoko Ono and Jack Douglas (who did the real production work).
This is one of those times we’d love to have a ‘way back’ machine for.
The final Lennon LP, started 38 years ago today. The picture is of what appears to be a ‘listen back’ in the studio with Yoko, John and Jack.
