New York Dolls – Personality Crisis

January 14, 1992: Drummer Jerry Nolan of The New York Dolls died from a fatal stroke in New York City. Nolan was being treated for bacterial meningitis and bacterial pneumonia at St. Vincent's Hospital at the end of 1991 when he suffered the stroke and went into a coma from which he never recovered. He spent his final weeks on a life support system at the hospital. Jerry was 45 years old.
