The Beatles – Blackbird (Rehearsal Take)

June 11, 1968: Work on the Beatles “White Album” continued at the EMI studios in London. Rather than work together on their new songs as a united band, the sessions quickly dissolved into each member, particularly John and Paul, doing their own thing and working on their own songs, with only occasional help from the other Beatles. Today, Lennon added sound affects to be increasingly weird and avant-garde “Revolution 9” in Studio 3 while McCartney recorded his “Blackbird” alone in Studio 2.
