June 14, 1965: Capitol Records released "Beatles VI" in the US. It was the ninth Beatles' LP to be released in the States in a year and a half. Like all Beatles records at the time, this was a hybrid album, made up of their UK releases; "Beatles VI" consisted of six tracks from "Beatles For Sale", "Yes It Is" (the B-side to the single "Ticket to Ride") and two other tracks from the forthcoming UK release of "Help!" In addition, the band recorded two Larry Williams songs, "Bad Boy" and "Dizzy Miss Lizzy" for the album. It will go to #1 on the US charts.
