October 5, 1999: Paul McCartney released his 11th solo album, “Run Devil Run.” A collection of vintage Rock and Roll covers plus three original songs, Paul’s backing band on the LP included guitarist David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and Ian Paice of Deep Purple on drums. The LP will peak at #12 on the UK charts and at #27 in the US.
