looking for their record, “My Bonnie.” He’s impresed by the performance, and introduces himself to George Harrison and Paul McCartney. By the end of the month, Epstein would persuade the group that he should be their manager and on January 24, 1962, a contract is signed; he would clean up the boys act, put them in suits, convince them to change their drummer from Pete Best to Ringo Starr and get them a recording contract. He would manage the Beatles until his death in August 1967.
