December 28, 1979: The third of four “Concerts for the People of Kampuchea” took place at the Hammersmith Odeon in London; the four day event was organized by Paul McCartney to raise money for the victims of war-torn Cambodia. The concert tonight featured The Who, The Pretenders and The Specials.
