Byrds – Mr. Tambourine Man 1972

Written by on February 25, 2021

February 24, 1973: The Byrds played their final show at a concert in Passaic, New Jersey. Soon after the gig, Roger McGuinn (the only original member left in the band) would dissolve the group. This line-up, with McGuinn, Clarence White, Skip Battin and Gene Parsons, had been together since 1969 and was the most stable and longest-lived incarnation of the band.
