June 11, 1968: Work on the Beatles “White Album” continued at the Abbey Road studios in London.

Rather than work together on all their new songs as a united band, the sessions often saw each Beatle, particularly John and Paul, doing their own thing and working on their own songs, with only occasional help from the others. Today, Lennon added sound effects to be increasingly weird and avant-garde “Revolution 9” in Studio 3 while McCartney recorded his “Blackbird” alone in Studio 2.
