I’m Looking Through You (Remastered 2009)

Written by on November 11, 2021

November 11, 1965: The final recording session for The Beatles’ “Rubber Soul” album took place at the Abbey Road Studios in London. They needed three new songs to finish the LP, so an old song, “Wait” was pulled off the shelf. The group also recorded two new songs from start to finish: Paul’s “You Won’t See Me” and John’s “Girl”, with the basic tracks for both songs being completed in two takes.

The finished album would be in the shops by December 3 in the UK and December 6 in the US, just in time for the Christmas shopping season.
