SAMMY HAGAR Kicks Off Summer Tour

Sammy Hagar kicked off his summer 2026 tour Saturday night with a hit-packed 19-song set in St. Louis.

You can see the complete set list and fan-shot video from the show below.

This is the third summer of Hagar’s Best of All Worlds tour, which celebrates his decade-long stint as Van Halen‘s lead singer.

He was joined by his longtime bandmate and fellow Van Halen alumni Michael Anthony, guitarist Joe Satriani, drummer Kenny Aronoff and newly recruited keyboardist Nathan Mercado.

The group shook things up a bit by starting the night with the 5150 smash “Why Can’t This Be Love,” followed by the one-two For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge punch of “Top of the World” and “Runaround.”

DAVID LEE ROTH Performs VAN HALEN Classics On Stone Pony Summer Stage During Spring/Summer 2026 Tour

On Friday, June 5, David Lee Roth performed on the “Summer Stage” at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey. According to 92.7 WOBM, the Summer Stage launched in 2009 as an upgrade to the Stone Pony’s outdoor area, making room for bigger concerts during the warmer months. It runs from May through October and can hold roughly 4,500 fans, which is a major step up in size compared to the indoor venue.

RUSH Performs Entire ‘2112’ Suite At Second ‘Fifty Something’ Concert In Los Angeles

Canadian rock legends RUSH performed their seven-part suite “2112” for the first time in nearly 30 years at their second “Fifty Something” tour concert Tuesday night (June 9) at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California. It marked the first time RUSH had played “Part III: Discovery”, “Part V: Oracle: The Dream” and “Part VI: Soliloquy” as part of the 20-minute “2112” suite since the “Test For Echo” tour back in 1997. Other tour debuts at Tuesday night’s show included the 1982 “Signals” track “The Analog Kid”, along with “Leave That Thing Alone” and “Headlong Flight”, plus the “Hemispheres” classic “The Trees”, which was performed live for the first time since 2008.

The “Fifty Something” tour is RUSH‘s first with the band’s revamped lineup of classic members Geddy Lee (vocals, bass) and Alex Lifeson (guitar) alongside Anika Nilles, a German drummer who toured with legendary guitarist Jeff Beck in 2022, and newly added keyboardist Loren Gold, who is best known as touring member of THE WHO and CHICAGO.

RUSH‘s setlist for “Fifty Something” is culled from a pool of nearly 40 RUSH classics, with the band playing two sets a night that celebrate late RUSH drummer Neil Peart‘s life and legacy.

British hard rock legends DEEP PURPLE performed their two new singles, “Arrogant Boy” and “Diablo”, live for the first time during their concert Thursday night (June 11) at Metro Areena in Espoo, Finland. Fan-filmed video of the show can be seen below.

“Arrogant Boy” and “Diablo” will both appear on DEEP PURPLE‘s upcoming studio album, “Splat!”, which is due on July 3 via earMUSIC. Produced once again by Bob Ezrin (KISS, PINK FLOYD, Lou Reed, Alice Cooper),the effort has been described in a press release as “the heaviest DEEP PURPLE album in many years”.

SAGA Returns To Live Stage After More Than A Year

Canadian progressive music icons SAGA played their first concert in more than a year this past Thursday, June 11 at the River Cree Resort & Casino in Enoch, Alberta, Canada. Fan-filmed video of the show can be seen below (uploaded by coldistheshoulder on YouTube). Also appearing on the bill were Canadian hard rock veterans HELIX.

Following his extended recovery after being diagnosed with cancer, SAGA frontman Michael Sadler rejoined guitarist Ian Crichton and keyboardist Jim Gilmour in the band’s core lineup.

A few updates to SAGA‘s touring lineup have also been made for the group’s current shows. Mike Thorne remains the primary drummer, though fans may see the familiar and highly capable Brad Park stepping in for selected dates, as he has done successfully in the past. On bass, Mike Borkosky returns to handle those duties after performing with SAGA on the 2024 tour. As the band welcomes Mike back, it also marks the end of Dusty Chesterfield‘s time with SAGA.
