Last November, DOKKEN leader Don Dokken spoke to Robert Edwards of Talkin’ Bout Rock about the complications from his November 2019 neck and spinal surgery which rendered his right arm nearly paralyzed. The 72-year-old Don said: “I can’t play guitar anymore, which is one of my biggest bummers, because if you see my hand, [the left hand is] fine; [the right] one doesn’t move. That’s all I got. So I can’t play guitar anymore. It was a botched spinal surgery, and the doctor was a butcher. And so it was just one bad calamity after the other. So I said, ‘Well, we’ll keep going.’ I can still sing.”

THE BLACK CROWES‘ 2026 touring lineup consists of the Robinson brothers Chris (vocals) and Rich (guitar) alongside drummer Cully Symington, keyboardist Erik Deutsch and guitarist Nico Bereciartua. Longtime bassist Sven Pipien is sitting out the tour and is being replaced by Mark “Muddy” Dutton of BURNING TREE.

Rock For People was part of the 2026 leg of IRON MAIDEN‘s “Run For Your Lives” world tour, which kicked off on May 23 at the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (OAKA) in Athens, Greece.

Although most of the setlist has remained the same as the one for the 2025 leg of “Run For Your Lives”, one notable change was made for the Athens concert: the addition of the aforementioned “Infinite Dreams”, a song from MAIDEN‘s seventh studio album, “Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son”, marking the first time the track had been performed in concert since 1988 when it was played during MAIDEN‘s tour in support of the LP.
