METALLICA’s ROBERT TRUJILLO And KIRK HAMMETT Cover DEATH’s ‘Pull The Plug’ During Tampa Concert

Robert Trujillo and Kirk Hammett performed a rendition of “Pull The Plug” by Florida death metal pioneers DEATH during METALLICA‘s June 8 concert at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

Earlier today, bassist Terry Butler, who was a member of DEATH when the original version of “Pull The Plug” was recorded for the band’s “Leprosy” album (1988),took to his Facebook page to share a video of Hammett and Trujillo‘s rendition, and he included the following message: “Last night Rob & Kirk played a snippet of Pull the Plug !! Glad to see them give props !! It’s the thought that counts !! Pretty damn cool ! #death #chucklives”.
